FAO: ↓
Early in the 3rd Year we were each given a newspaper article to re-design and create a fictitious magazine for it to go in.
I got an article about E-numbers and how food is poorly labeled. The article pointed out 8 E-numbers in particular that are really are quite bad for you.
I called my magazine FAO: (For the attention of). The main article is on one page, with an intro on the left and a paragraph about each E-number running down the right. Then I laid out all the E-numbers on two pullout spreads and had the 8 mentioned ones in red with the main problems they cause underneath. The idea of the pullout was to shock the reader with the amount of E-numbers and to get them to think what they are eating.
The right hand page is folded at the top to draw the reader in. And the list of 8 E-numbers runs off the bottom and comes down from the top of the inside page.
